If you need to save a web page to view later while you're offline, or want to have a copy of it that you can easily share with others or send to a printer, converting it to a PDF file can make things much easier. Chrome and Safari come with built-in tools to create PDF files, but you'll need extra software if you use Firefox or Internet Explorer
Open your PDF document and convert it to a word document. Once converted to a word document resave it as a PDF document then you can merge or combine your documents without losing digital signatures or having to convert it to a portfolio document
It took only around 15 seconds to recognize text on a scanned 1 page form on my 2012 MacBook Air, but a couple minutes on a 30 page full-color textbook PDF. Either way, the recognized text will show up in any PDF reader afterwards, just as if it was an original digital document
